Gina is a native of northeastern Oklahoma, having grown up in Muskogee and Ft. Gibson. Her work has taken her to Indiana, Texas, South Carolina, and Nashville, TN. A self-titled “city girl with a country heart,” she loves to sing and write songs about small-town life, love for God, family, friends, and romance, of course, as well as the various paths our choices take us in this grand journey of life.

Gina grew up listening to her dad's classic country and Elvis, her mom's faves – Anne Murray and anything from the 50's, as well as, her brother's contemporary Christian tunes. Finally, with her younger sister came an appreciation and love of alternative/acoustic rock. "I love all kinds of music really; except for die-hard rap and hard rock. My favorites range from U2 to Aretha Franklin to Trisha Yearwood to Rich Mullins."

Gina has been singing & writing songs since she was 7 and has sung for people of all ages in various settings -churches, bookstores, on the beach, at block parties, for tourists in campgrounds and malls, for children in schools, in coffeeshops, etc. Gina’s other performance experiences include college bands and four summers on traveling drama/vocal/dance teams. She is open for any opportunity to share her journeys in life through song with any age group in almost any venue.

Gina’s first independent project, "Seasons," was released in September 2000 and is still available to purchase via this website or you can always pick one or several up from attending one of her "live" performances.

Always following her heart, Gina felt after 3 ˝ years of learning more about the music industry and songwriting in Nashville, playing gigs around town, especially at the Bluebird Cafe, as well as, making solid connections with fellow up-and-coming songwriters, it would be okay to move back closer to where the other half of her heart resides with family and friends in Oklahoma. She says, "I love Nashville. I am going to miss being so close to everything that has to do with my love of music. But I will take all that I have learned about songwriting and use it throughout my life. And I plan to make a few trips into town each year to keep co-writing, to do more demos, and meet with publishing company reps."
